Peter Poyntz-Wright did his National Service in the Somerset Light Infantry before working in industry for 18 years and then embarking on a career in education teaching History and Humanities for a further 19 years. Peter has written several books including The Battle of Hastings, the Church Towers of Somerset, The Rural Benchends of Somerset and Hunky Punks. He lectures widely on various topics from The Battle of Hastings and The Bayeux Tapestry to the great French Cathedrals of Northern France.
